In Our Hands is an intimate portrait of the UK’s alternative and small scale food producers, made in association with the Landworkers' Alliance. Exploring hopeful innovations differing from the current large scale agribusiness and the legislative problems faced against the Brexit backdrop. This Teaser edit is a look at the style and content of the film, madefor the Oxford Real Farming Conference in January 2017. Film to be released in June 2017.



In the summer of 2015 Holly Black and Jo Barker decided to only eat food from within 100 miles of their home city Bristol, for an entire year to find out what it truly means to eat local. A Black Bark Films documentary short, this film follows their journey through the highs and lows as new feasts are foraged, old traditions explored and tantrums are thrown at the loss of comforting eating habits. Sims Hill shared harvest crowdfunder

A short stop frame animation for Sims Hill Shared Harvest, a Bristol based community cupported agriculture project, for their crowdfunding campaign - supporting the local food revolution!





Showcasing our interest in working with all ages of our community, Plastic Beach has been made in association with Lilah Bachram an 8 year old activist. From shoot scheduling, storyboarding, directing and editing Lilah was involved throughout the process. 


Get Growing Trail

Since 2011 over 30 gardens, community growing projects and green spaces have thrown open their gates to the Get Growing Trail. This promotional film is a little window into their worlds in the summer of 2016, as an example to funders of the trail's outreach.
